AMIR'S BIO

Amir Gilboa is a digital health expert and entrepreneur. He is a strategic advisor to companies around the world, as well as Governments and national organizations.

Amir is the founder of CliniCult - an EMR (Electronic Medical Record) for clinics. CliniCult’s mission is to enable clinics to deliver quality treatment with advanced technologies and a unique user experience, combining digital health capabilities to reduce costs and increase patient satisfaction.

Amir served as a Chief Digital-Health Officer in Healthcare Israel (part of Israeli MOH) as part of his consulting services.

Amir has more than 15 years of experience in the tech industry. His experience includes various roles and positions such as development, project and product manager, program manager, sales, marketing, and more.

AMIR'S WORK

During the years Amir took part in and led many complex and challenging projects. Here are some examples for different types of projects

NATIONAL ED POGRAM

As part of a national program to improve the Emergency Departments in Israeli hospitals, Amir led all the digitization and computing parts. The program included the adjustment and implementation of a queue management system as well as interfaces to clinical systems. In addition, the program included the building of national infrastructure for real-time information transmission, analysis, and smart views for decision-makers in the MOH. In the end, the relevant data was presented also to the patient via a mobile application that was developed for this purpose.

This program was supervised directly by the health minister Yaacov Litzman and the MOH's CEO Moshe Bar Siman-Tov.

HIE MISSION TO THE BAHAMAS

The Bahamian Ministry of Health together with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) invited a group of experts from Israel to help with building a national Health Information Exchange (HIE).

Amir led the group and the assessment process as part of Healthcare Israel's collaboration with IDB.

Amir managed the whole process from the pre-visit activities (gathering data, initial calls, etc) through the visit in the field (meeting and interviews) until the post-visit and the report writing.

HIE CASE STUDY DOCUMENT

The journey to implementing Health Information Exchange in Israel is very unique and many countries ask to learn from this process.

As part of the Healthcare Israel and the Inter-American Development Bank collaboration, Amir led the writing of the Israeli HIE case study document.

The document describes the stages, the dilemmas, and the principles of this journey.
